Please write in your own words so your Legislators know that you are a real person who cares about equal representation.  Mention that you are a voting member of their District.

[This is where you can add a sentence or two about why you think this scholarship is important.

Here are some talking points for you to consider:

  • View the Wyoming Community Foundation’s brief on why this scholarship is so important.
  • Young mothers, while taking time off school to care for their children, often age out of the Hathaway scholarship before they get the chance to use it. This scholarship presents another opportunity for women to attend college, even after taking time off after high school.
  • Scholarships especially help Wyoming women, as 58% of all student loan debt belongs to women.
