SF 67 – Long-Term Homeowner Tax Exemption-Revisions

We Oppose This Bill.

Summary: AN ACT relating to taxation; amending qualifications for the tax exemption for long-term homeowners; repealing the sunset date for the exemption; specifying applicability; and providing for an effective date.
Why It Matters: Hard working Wyoming women deserve to know that the taxes they pay will continue to support the community services and education they use to learn, grow, and build community. This property tax cuts too far into our Wyoming schools, community colleges, BOCES childcare centers, senior centers and many more local services.
