HB 96 – Prohibiting Mask, Vaccine, and Testing Discrimination

We Oppose This Bill.

Summary: This bill would charge a person who receives subsidies with a civil suit and/or action if: they denied someone services because they weren't vaccinated, didn't wear a face covering, or refused to submit to COVID 19 testing, or if they published anything stating a face covering is required.
Why It Matters: The medical emergency of COVID-19 has been controlled. This bill, however, would set a dangerous precedent if future emergencies were to arise. If one were to arise which required masking and/or vaccinations to keep people alive, refusal to do so could put our doctors and nurses (majority women) at risk.

HB 96 – Prohibiting mask, vaccine and testing discrimination.
