HB 122 – Senior Citizen Service Districts – Authorization and Renewal

We Support This Bill.

Summary: AN ACT relating to counties; amending the length of time for approval of a mill levy proposition for senior citizen service districts; amending the process for reconsidering mill levies for senior citizen service districts; and providing for an effective date.
Why It Matters: As Wyoming's population continues to age, we must ensure our elders, the majority of whom are women, have a community in which they can engage and thrive. This bill allows that if a senior citizen district mill levy has been approved, it does not need to be renewed.

HB 122 – Senior citizen service districts-authorization and renewal.
