GEOGRAPHIC/FIELD OF INTEREST FUND
These funds are used to support a specific cause; for example education, the outdoors or the arts, or to benefit a community or region.
A couple of examples:
Dara & John Corkery of Gillete, use their Geographic Fund to support what they are passionate about: the arts. Their Advocacy for Visual Arts Fund supports the AVA community arts center, which provides Gillette residents a central place to create and show art.
The Kemmerers turned to WYCF to manage their existing foundation, with the forward-thinking goal of benefitting the communities they love: Kemmerer, Diamondville and the area known as Frontier. The scope of the fund is broad, meaning the fund can support a wide-range of issues, but the impact of the funds stays specific to the area.
