Merle founded Merle Chambers Fund in 1997 and made a challenge grant to establish the Wyoming Women’s Foundation Endowment in 1999. Wyoming donors rose to the challenge! As WYWF celebrates 25 years of working for women’s economic self-sufficiency in Wyoming, we have invited Merle back to Wyoming! Join us as we visit with her about her life, her work in Wyoming, and what led her to establish the Wyoming Women’s Foundation. Bekah Hazelton, WYWF Director, will interview Merle over lunch at “The M” in downtown Casper and present a new endowment challenge to usher us into the next 25 years!
We’re also having a 25th Birthday Party!
Stay around after our conversation with Merle Chambers to help us celebrate with donors, grantees, friends and community members. We will provide appetizers, a cash bar, give-aways and more. This will be a great chance to visit informally with lots of people who have benefitted from WYWF’s investment in Wyoming and those who have been long-time friends.
