HB 169 – Homeowner Tax Exemption-2025 and 2026

We Oppose This Bill.

Summary: AN ACT relating to taxation; establishing a homeowner property tax exemption; specifying applicability; providing a sunset date; providing legislative findings; providing appropriations; and providing for an effective date of tax year 2026.
Why It Matters: Hard working Wyoming women deserve to know that the taxes they pay will continue to support the community services and education they use to learn, grow, and build community. This property tax cuts too far into our Wyoming schools, community colleges, senior centers and many more local services.
