SF 117 – Parental rights in education.
We Oppose This Bill.

Why It Matters: Schools staff across the state of Wyoming are dwindling. There have been programs set forth by agencies and the Legislature to combat the teaching shortage in Wyoming. Almost 70% of all Wyoming teachers are women. This bill could further limit the pool of applicants for jobs in Wyoming, when teachers may practice their job in other states with more freedom to teach without fear of disciplinary action.
