HB 169 – Mental Health and Vulnerable Taskforce

We Support This Bill.

Summary: AN ACT relating to the legislature; continuing the mental health and vulnerable adult task force; specifying members and duties of the task force; requiring reports; providing a termination date for the task force; providing an appropriation; and providing for an effective date.
Why It Matters: It's important that Wyoming has a dedicated group of people working on issues around mental health and our vulnerable adults. Numerous studies show that anxiety and depression is on the rise among girls. Additionally, because women tend to outlive men, ensuring Wyoming is exploring strategies to support its vulnerable adults is important as well.
