2013 Request for Proposals
The application process will be open April 15 - June 14, 2013
Funding Priorities:
The Wyoming Women’s Foundation makes grants to organizations that support the long-term economic self-sufficiency of women and opportunities for girls in Wyoming. We prioritize organizations and programs that address systems change, or advancing issues that affect women and/or girls and impact their economic self-sufficiency.
1. Job Opportunity/Education & Training
• Access to job opportunities that pay a self-sufficient wage
• Education or training that leads to jobs paying a self-sufficient wage
• Financial literacy training
• Efforts that support closing the gender wage gap
• Retirement planning education
2. Women and Girls’ Leadership, Empowerment, and Mentoring
The proposed activities need not be in the form of new programs or projects. Grant funds may support activities to make current programs more effective, improve organizational efficiency to directly benefit women and/or girls, or
support advocacy efforts. Please see the grants section of our website: www.wywf.org for brief descriptions of past
grantee projects.
Eligibility:
Grants are made to nonprofit organizations exempt from federal taxation under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Service and to public/governmental agencies. Grants are not made to individuals.
